New this season, EHA is hosting a PeeWee Contact clinic .
Body contact and body checking are key parts of this fast and exhilarating game. To play at the top of your game, it is critical to be able to give and receive checks without worrying about the potential for injury.
Eagan Hockey, in partnership with Erik Anderson, is proud to provide a body contact clinic designed to ease the transition into higher levels of play (PW/Bantams) and develop those skills. This clinic will help train your game so that you have the skills and confidence to play to the best of your abilities in tight, physical situations while also reducing the likelihood of injury.
This clinic is similar to the clinic that Bantams participate in, which is typically centered around body contact and checking, for players entering their first season of body checking, but the drills covered will be appropriate for the PeeWee level.
Coaches will help focus on developing key skills including angling, positioning, technique, awareness and many more.
