FAQ for 2023-2024 Season Jersey Order

When are the Squirts, PeeWees and Bantams jerseys available to order?

EHA jerseys will be available to order starting at 10AM on Saturday May 6th when the store link will be posted on the EHA Jersey page. All orders are due by Monday May 15th at Midnight.

Payments will be collected by vendor (various payment types accepted) at the time the online order is placed.

**These jerseys carry over year to year so we always encourage you to buy them a little big if you can.**

How will the jersey numbers be assigned?

For incoming first year Squirts, jersey numbers (from 1-98) are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Once a jersey number has been selected in the ordering process, it will no longer be available.

For all other years, you must contact the Equipment Coordinator to obtain an available number before you place your order if it is your first year with Eagan hockey. This number will stay with your player throughout their years in Squirts, Pee Wees and Bantams and the jerseys can be worn year to year and across levels.

Every other year (1st year or 2nd year) will be assigned even or odd numbered jerseys ensuring that there are no duplicate numbers in any given level in any given year.

**If you are a new second year Squirt, Pee Wee or Bantam player,  you'll need to reach out to the EHA Equipment Manager to receive a list of available jersey numbers to choose from.

This year's selection is as follows:

  • EVEN Numbers: First year Squirts, Pee Wees and Bantams for 2023-2024 season
  • ODD Numbers: Second year Squirts, Pee Wees and Bantams for the 2023-2024 season

What is the cost?

The Eagan Hockey Association offers a discounted jersey package for all first year players, replacement jerseys are full price (you must keep the same number). Payment is due at the time of order and is non-refundable. The pricing is as follows:

  • First Year Squirt or New EHA Player -- Home and Away Jersey and 2 pair socks: $100 (Player's Last name and Number on jerseys)
  • Second Year Squirt, Pee Wee or Bantam Home or Away Jersey: $170 ($85 each) *Goal cuts an additional $5 per jersey.

*Note: Two pairs of socks (home/road) are provided by EHA each year as part of the registration process in the summer/fall.

What if I have a returning player that needs a new jersey?

You need to order a replacement jersey before the deadline through the same ordering website. Do not wait to find out in the fall that your players jersey is too small! This store will not be reopened and you won't be guaranteed a jersey for next season due to the long lead time. You MUST use the same number for your player. Orders are checked against last year's numbers.

Do I have to order socks?

The association will provide new socks to all players. Come to EHA west rink to try on sock samples with pads, Sunday April 30, 12-1:30pm; and Monday May 1, 7:15-8:30pm.

When will the jerseys be available?

As long as orders are placed in May, the jerseys and socks will be available at the start of the hockey season for each level.

Where are the jerseys made?

The jerseys are made in the USA right here in Edina by Gemini, a local company that makes jerseys for dozens of associations. Gemini was selected from a number of competing bids because they provided a high quality product for the most competitive pricing.

What about other levels and jerseys for the girls programs?

Jerseys for other levels including the Girls Program, Junior Gold and Mites are ordered closer to the start of the season.

EHA Board is evaluating how numbers will be assigned for First-year Squirts and SY Squirts in the future 2024-2025 season.

JERSEY SIZING

We are providing size information from Gemini as well as summary data from the first year we ordered jerseys when most players were fitted with equipment on. This should give families a good idea of where sizing typically falls for each age level. When in doubt, order a larger size. Keep in mind the jersey you have now has to carry all the way through the end of the season so plan ahead if your player is growing.

EHA does not authorize the purchase of or allow the wearing of another jersey for games. This excludes Jr. Gold.

GOALIE CUT SIZING

Goalie cut jerseys are also available where an extra panel is sewn in under the length of the arm.  Please contact the Equipment Coordinator to discuss goalie sizing.

In 2023, Gemini now suggests for Squirt goalies to order up one size in a skater cut, and not order goalie cut.
