Mini Mite

- AGE: Typically Kindergarten and 1st Graders. 2023-2024 Season: Birthdays between 06/01/16-05/31/18

- REGISTRATION: Opens in mid-August and closes in mid-October on the Registration page. Registration discount ends October 1st for Mini Mite.
- SEASON: Practices start in mid-November and ends in early March.
- TEAM FORMATION: Co-ed teams are generally grouped by school of attendance.
- PRACTICES: Two indoor practices per week. Practices will focus on skating, competition, puck handling skills, and passing/shooting skills all combined with ADM type skill stations to mask repetition. Skaters will be grouped with like-skaters and abilities. Practices are typically Saturday and Sunday mornings. Teams will share the ice with up to three other teams. Additional outdoor ice will be added as weather permits.
- JAMBOREES: There will be an in-season Outdoor Jamboree in January and an indoor Paw Power Jamboree in March.
- LITTLE CHIPPERS: Mini Mite teams will have a Little Chipper appearance during an intermission of an Eagan High School game. Immediate family admission is free.
- OPEN SKATING: Registered Eagan Hockey players are admitted to open skating (including Club Sk8) at the Eagan Arena at no cost if they are wearing Eagan Hockey Apparel, so take advantage of this perk when you can.
