Hello, I would like to create and have the ability to maintain an email distribution list for the Board members that can be used by anyone.  Can Mystify host an email distribution list that can be updated through the website admin page?

Just to check, are you looking for a board emal distribution list that anyone from the public, from anywhere in the world, can broadcast to?

If so, the best this is likely to create an email address that fans out to all board members and you can then publish that email address anywhere you wish.  Is this what you are looking for?

Can I/you create something along the lines of EHABoard@Mystify.com that I can add or remove members from and have available to the board or EHA members? How would I do that?

OK, but all of your email addresses end in eaganhockey.com.  Therefore, do you want us to create one for EHABoard@eaganhockey.com?  If so, please provide the list of email addresses it is to route to.  To edit the people it routes to, you need admin access to our email server.  To get that, we need to set up and emai laddress for you and give it admin access for your domain name.

Thank you, I appologize, I was out of town and unable to reply.  The emails that I would like to have on the distribution list are from the board page on our website, if you need them listed in this thread I can do that.

Do you need any additional info from me as far as an admin account to update the distribution list.

Done.  Any email sent to eha.board@eaganhockey.com will go out to all board members.

Also, please know that any board member can have an eaganhockey.com email address.  For example, instead of using personal email or work email, the president can use President@eaganhockey.com.  It can be set up as a real mailbox or as a forwarding address.  A forwarding address goes to any email address desired.  A real mailbox can be accessed using Webmail, programs like Outlook, Blackberry's, iPhones, Android phones, iPads, etc, etc.

How do I go about updateing the eha.board@eaganhockey.com distribution list? Also how do I create new eaganhockey.com addresses?

We can grant you access to edit the mail server for your domain name.  To do that, we have to set up the first email address.  Once we know what you, Scott, want for your email address, we can set that email address to have mail server editing access.  With that you can edit the list of email addresses for your forwarding address as well as add, edit, and delete email accounts.

If I understand correctly, please do the following:

Set up my email address as secretary@eaganhockey.com.  Assuming this needs to alias my personal email address which is sagebhart@comcast.net.
